The writer talks of foreign medical students and the benefit they bring to the US society both in terms of cultural diversity and monetary inflow. With almost 42% of student visas arriving late last year and many more being rejected since then I see it as a mere waste of money. What I think is that this essay is meant to drive more innocent fools towards applying for a visa in false hope of getting one and in the process loosing hundreds of dollars worth of revenue to American overlords.
